Join LLWA for an Evening of Camaraderie and Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Education
Join us for our 2019 Education Summit on Aquatic Invasive Species. Gather with community members, local scientists, and watershed experts to socialize and learn. Dress is casual, light food and drink will be provided (cash bar). The event is free and open to all (pre-registrations is requested).

About the Event

A.I.S. Speakers include:
- Raymond "Ray" Newman, Professor, Department of Fisheries, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at the University of Minnesota who will be talking about the relationship between AIS plants and invasive carp in watershed environments. - Tony Havranek, Sr. Ecologist at WSB & Associates, who will be speaking about the current state of the Long Lake Creek Sub-Watershed, and the work to date analyzing the carp population levels and potential mitigation strategies.
