As the days shorten and the weather cools we can still enjoy a palette of fall colors, wildflower blooms and turning leaves.The season still provides plenty of opportunities to beactive and enjoy the watershed.

As we enjoy short days with often brilliant colorful sunsets, we still have opportunities to observe the incredibly resilient creatures that spend their winters here, and to be active and enjoy the watershed.

With shorter days upon us and cooler temperatures on the way, there are many transitions that take place during this season, from changing leaves to migrating birds. This fall’s unusually warm temperatures have provided a wonderful, extended time for enjoying the watershed.

Summer is a good time for celebration and for taking steps to benefit our lakes and the surrounding area. Healthy watersheds support biodiversity and clean water for both wildlife and people to enjoy!
