Dog Waste Stations
One overlooked pile of dog waste can release enough phosphorus to fuel an algae bloom.
Why It Matters
Pet waste is a surprisingly large contributor of phosphorus and harmful bacteria to lakes and streams. Unlike wildlife, dogs are heavily concentrated where people live and walk — often right next to the water.
Where to Find a Station
Stations are located at popular access points around the lake. A live map is coming soon.
How You Can Help

Use the stations — every time. Grab a bag on the way in, drop the waste on the way out. It only works if everyone uses it, every single walk.

Encourage neighbors and fellow dog-walkers to do the same.

Adopt a station: refill bags monthly.
